Hazardous Deadwood Removal & Canopy Pruning

Heavy deadwood and overextended limbs posed a severe risk to a residential pool deck and roofline in Lakeland Village. Our team executed a precision canopy clearance using ISA-guided structural pruning and controlled sectional lowering—eliminating falling branch hazards with zero impact to the property.

Project Journal

Our team was dispatched to address a mature Eucalyptus tree featuring extensive deadwood and overextended limbs hanging directly above a home's roofline and patio enclosure. The customer reported falling bark and small branch drops during high winds, indicating structural stress and decay risks.

Using specialized climbing gear and friction lowering devices, technicians systematically climbed the upper canopy to perform structural thinning. Each deadwood limb was rigged and lowered using controlled brake ropes to avoid impacting surrounding hardscapes or garden structures below.

We elevated the canopy margin to establish a clean 10-foot clearance from the roofline and thinned inner canopy growth by 20% to improve wind resistance. All trimmed foliage was chipped on-site, and the yard was thoroughly raked clean upon completion.
